Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have kept it short because the site collects very little.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Top Gear General Trading L.L.C. ("Top Gear", "we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and part of the Abbas Bin Haider Group. Top Gear distributes Clixo in the Middle East. For the personal data collected through this website, Top Gear is the controller.
Clixo is a brand of Toyish Labs, Inc., based in New York, United States. Toyish Labs does not operate this website and does not receive the data collected here except as described in section 5.
2. What we collect
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for:

If you email or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to share in that message or call.
Technical information
Our hosting provider's servers keep standard access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and device type. These logs keep the site secure and help us fix faults. We don't use them to profile you.
What we don't collect
- No payment details. Nothing is sold on this website.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking tools. See our cookie policy.
- No data bought from third parties. We never sell or rent personal data.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We won't add you to a mailing list because you sent a message. We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Buying from a retailer
This site links to third-party retailers, such as ChooseMyToys and Amazon.ae. When you buy from them, they collect your data under their own privacy policies, not this one.
5. Who we share it with
- Our hosting and email providers, who store the site and carry the messages the form generates, on our instructions.
- Other companies in the Abbas Bin Haider Group, where your enquiry is best handled by another part of the group.
- Toyish Labs, Inc. (Clixo), only where your question needs the brand owner's input, for example a detailed product or safety question. We share only what's needed to answer it.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or to establish or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
We are based in the UAE, so your data is handled in the UAE. Our hosting and email providers may process data on servers in other countries, and data shared with Toyish Labs goes to the United States. We transfer personal data only as the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies, the EU or UK GDPR allow, using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- General messages: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Messages that lead to a business relationship: for the length of that relationship, then as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires.
- Server logs: the short rolling period set by our hosting provider, usually a few weeks.
You can ask us to delete your message sooner, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. How we protect it
The site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form submissions are checked and stripped of code before they're emailed, and access to the mailbox is limited to the staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach is likely to put you at risk we'll notify the relevant authority and, where required, you.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- give you your data in a portable format; and
- stop using it where we rely on consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Email topgear@abhgt.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We reply within 30 days, free of charge, and may need to confirm your identity first. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Clixo is made for children, but this website is for parents, teachers, retailers and other adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. If we learn that a child has sent us personal data, we'll delete it.
11. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
